FAMILY PHOTOS
Every family has a story. Here are some of the stories from our feline family.
As you can see, Sade (Bombay) and Sita (Burmese) are best friends. They like to do everything together. But they each have their own interests too.
Sita enjoy acro-cat-ics, and especially enjoys using Sade as her "prop". She likes to do high jumps, long jumps, and somersaults. Her floor routine is quite snappy, and she also enjoys the balance beam.
Sade likes to read newspapers, books, and magazines. She also enjoys working on the computer and doing her own brand of tricks. Her special talent is reaching up and pulling hands down to pat, rub, and massage her. This makes it necessary to hide all hands at night as well as possible under covers or pillows. She feels that night time is the right time for a feline love fest.
When they have thoroughly tired themselves out, they like to nap at their "desk" by the office door. Sade has taken on the position of Secretary and Sita is the Administrative Assistant. They think that the whole office thing is boring though and can't understand why Mom doesn't let them use the Internet more often.

Leontyne is the house manager. She likes to sit on top of the balustrade and direct the work of her servants. She can be found there during most of her waking hours, although of late she has been busy raising her five daughters. She is a stern but affectionate mother, very involved with their education and development. She never misses a soccer game nor a PTA meeting. She likes to supervise their diet and nutrition and makes sure that they have learned proper manners. Her kittens adore her although they are not above trying an occasional wrestling match. This usually ends with the kitten on her back and Leontyne using one of her wrestling holds to restrain her. It wasn't so long ago that Leontyne herself was a kitten.
The kittens are Soul2Soul's first homegrown litter. Leontyne is a very opiniated lady and wouldn't just accept any suitor. It seems that she had lost her heart to another kitten that had grown up along side her here at the Cattery and who had attended many shows with her. His name is Bastian's Rama of Caricature and he is a Sable Burmese stud. This is what he looked like as a four month old:

Of course, he has changed quite a bit since then but is just as sweet.

Here are some pictures of their girls:

They have grown quite a bit by now and two of them will be at the Springfield, Mass. Pioneer Valley Cat Club show on August 9th and 10th.

Meanwhile, Sade fell for a fine looking fellow from the Mid-west, GC Bellegatti Andrea Bocelli. She had four girls a few weeks ago, and is too busy caring for them to add much to her journal of late. Andy is back home now and I hear that he has drooled all over his cigar.
Rama spends his time with his companion, Felicity. They enjoy chases and sunning in the window on nice summer days.
